Manage

Control workspaces, roles, and invitations across your SupportGPT team

Use the Manage tab to organize teammates, set permissions, and keep your SupportGPT workspace secure. This page explains each control and outlines recommended processes for growing teams.

Workspace overview

  • Workspace name: Appears in the dashboard header and embeds. Keep it recognizable to agents and stakeholders.
  • Workspace URL: Generates the slug in the dashboard URL. Updating it does not affect existing embeds.
  • Plan & billing: Shows the active subscription and upcoming invoice data. Only owners can modify billing.

Roles and permissions

  • Owner
    • Full control over billing, plan changes, and workspace settings.
    • Manages all agents, sources, and analytics.
  • Member
    • Can create and train agents, review analytics, and export data.
    • Cannot edit billing or delete the workspace.

Best practice: Maintain at least two owners for redundancy, but reserve owner status for trusted administrators.

Invite teammates

banner

  1. Click Invite and enter one or more email addresses.
  2. Assign a default role (Owner or Member). You can change this later from the team list.
  3. Share a personalized note explaining what the teammate should work on first.
  4. Invites expire after 24 hours. Resend if the user does not accept in time.

Managing pending invitations

  • Track outstanding invites in the Pending list.
  • Revoke an invite if it was sent in error.
  • Resend to automatically generate a new expiration window.

Manage active users

  • Role changes: Use the dropdown next to each teammate to promote or demote roles.
  • Remove user: Removes workspace access immediately without affecting billing history.
  • Last active: Monitor engagement and audit trail for security reviews.

Security checklist

  • SSO & MFA: Require secure authentication via your identity provider (coming soon).
  • Review access quarterly: Ensure contractors and former employees are removed.
  • Audit logs: Export usage and access logs for compliance teams.
  • Configure quotas and track spend in Usage.
  • Standardize agent build processes in Your First Agent.
  • Share operational guidelines with new teammates using Best Practices.

Pair the Manage tab with a shared onboarding document so new teammates understand responsibilities before they accept the invite.
